Special Issues

The Essex Student Journal occasionally runs special issues alongside its general issue. These usually follow a theme that crosses disciplines to allow a variety of publications to be highlighted together and a range of students to share their perspectives on important topics. They remain edited by the current Editorial Team rather than guest editors.

In 2022-23, the Journal ran a Special Issue on Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion. You can read more about this special issue in our editorial closing it.
